Personal Consultations
Meet with a professional librarian who can offer assistance tailored to your needs. Reference Librarians can personally consult with students and faculty about a research question. To set up a time convenient to you, please fill out this form: Book A Librarian
What's the difference between individualized instruction and just walking into the library for assistance?
Individualized Instruction gives the librarian a chance to answer your question(s) without interruption. It also allows the librarian time to prepare for your particular request before you come in for your scheduled appointment. However, if you do not have time for this type of appointment system, come to the Reference Desk and ask for help; we're always glad to help when you stop by.
What Book A Librarian consultations do not do?
Book A Librarian consultations do not help in the actual writing of a paper for students. That assistance is available elsewhere, particularly through the Center for Academic Excellence.
